CFS-167 (1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluoro-n-hexyl)methyldichlorosilane

CAS No.: 38436-16-7

CFS-167 (1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluoro-n-hexyl)methyldichlorosilane is a highly reactive fluorosilane containing a perfluorohexyl group and dichlorosilane functionality. Its perfluorinated structure provides good hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, and chemical resistance, while the highly reactive dichlorosilane group enables further reactions for the synthesis of various fluorinated organosilicon materials and functional silanes.

Key Functions

CFS-167 (1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluoro-n-hexyl)methyldichlorosilane is mainly used as:

· Fluorinated organosilicon synthesis intermediate

· Surface modifier

· Functional silane raw material

Its highly reactive dichlorosilane group can undergo further hydrolysis, condensation, and substitution reactions for the preparation of other fluorinated silanes and organosilicon materials.

The perfluorohexyl group also provides low surface energy, hydrophobicity, and oleophobicity to treated materials.

Applications

CFS-167 (1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluoro-n-hexyl)methyldichlorosilane is mainly used in:

· Synthesis of fluorinated organosilicon materials

· Synthesis of functional silanes

· Polymer material production

· Surface modification of glass, ceramics, and other inorganic materials

· Hydrophobic and oleophobic surface treatment

· Coatings and sealant materials

CFS-167 can reduce the surface energy of treated materials, providing improved water repellency, oil repellency, and stain resistance.

Key Advantages

· High chemical reactivity

· Excellent hydrophobicity

· Good oleophobicity

· Good chemical resistance

· Low surface energy

· Suitable as an intermediate for fluorinated organosilicon materials and functional silanes

· Suitable for surface modification and water- and oil-repellent treatments
